Dayco Poly-V Serpentine Belt
Designed to provide full coverage for today’s light duty vehicle market, especially vehicles with troublesome drives.
Constructed with aramid reinforced EPDM compounds, the Dayco poly-V serpentine belt delivers more than just OE quality. Developed through extensive laboratory and road testing, the rib profile in this EPDM belt has been engineered to conform to high mileage, worn or misaligned drives and help eliminate noisy belt conditions. Dayco Poly-V serpentine belts offer extensive flexibility and longer service life, while handling higher workloads and temperature.
Dayco Poly-V Aramid Belt
Specifically designed for applications that may have noise, vibration or harshness issues, or in-drive systems in which tensioner take-up is minimal.
As the demand for higher output engines and tighter compartments increase, OEMs have elected to use serpentine belts with aramid tensile cord. The Dayco poly-V aramid serpentine belt has been engineered to maintain a quiet, vibration-free belt drive system. Unlike polyester-corded belts, the Dayco poly-V aramid serpentine belt will resist the expected elongations, especially during high accessory loading. This unique feature of length stability and minimal stretch can aid in difficult drives where span vibrations and tensioner movements are excessive. The Dayco poly-V aramid serpentine belt is built with Dayco’s specially designed EPDM rubber compounds to resist cracking and perform better under extreme temperature ranges.
Dayco ela® Poly-V Serpentine Belt
Specially designed for two to four point drives on light duty vehicles that do not require automatic or manual tensioning.
Dayco ela® belts have self-tensioning capabilities required by specific OE drives designed for a “stretch” belt. This belt construction incorporates a wear-resistant EPDM rib material, along with a highly elastic EPDM cushion rubber that surrounds the polyamide tensile cord, thus providing the required adhesion and flexibility to maintain lasting performance. The backbone behind the Dayco ela belt is its polyamide tensile member, which allows for high elongation required for installation, yet provides the proper tension maintenance properties to transmit the accessory loads demanded for the drive.
Dayco Timing Belt
Designed for specific OHC and DOHC applications ranging from normal service to high-performance, high temperature engines.
Manufactured with tough, wear-resistant fabric, high tensile strength cord and a molded tooth surface, Dayco’s timing belt provides consistent slip-proof power transfer and high resistance to oil and engine heat. The belt features a quieter, more economical molded cog design as well as a premium, high modulus glass fiber cord that delivers precise length stability to keep the engine running smoothly over the life of the belt.
Today, timing belts are subjected to new stresses and working conditions such as high direct injection pressure that in some applications exceeds 3,000 PSI, multi-valve motors with dual overhead camshafts with high loads, and turbocharged engines with high power and engine compartment temperatures above 250°F (120°C).
- HSN: This belt offers superior resistance to high working temperatures, even up to 230°F (110°C) and is designed to withstand pulsating loads.
- HK: Equipped with aramid-based fibers for superior durability and reduced noise, this belt style is manufactured for the latest small displacement high performance engine generations to withstand temperatures up to 250°F (120°C).

Meeting TS16949 quality standards, our design includes case-hardened roller bearings that have a tough exterior but an interior that allows for flex without breaking the bearing. Each pump features an improved impeller design for enhanced performance, cast aluminum or iron material for better durability and increased longevity, as well as superior gaskets and unitized seals to prevent leaks well beyond the life of our industry-leading 125,000 mile warranty.
Dayco Automotive Belt Tensioner
Designed for all vehicle applications with serpentine belt drives.
To maintain constant tension on serpentine belt drives, the Dayco automotive belt tensioner features our original, patented flat spring design to provide less operating range variation. It reduces the risk of premature accessory bearing failure due to high tension when a new belt is installed and lessens the risk of belt noise and slippage – or poor performance caused by low tension. A PTFE string wound within the spring resists abrasion dampens noise and the flat spring is coated to resist rust.
Dayco’s tensioner is also designed with a heavy duty cast aluminum spring case and arm. The strong metal helps resist cracking and fatigue and offers additional strength, lessening the risk of distortion. Additional premium features include a steel pivot tube on specific designs for enhanced stability, thermoplastic rubber spring slot plugs and rubber O-ring seals to help keep contaminants out and zinc coated mounting bolts that resist rust. Built to outperform and outlast competitive OE parts, our tensioners endure the toughest conditions while promoting quieter performance and longer life.
For automotive vehicle applications that include OAD as Original Equipment.
The Dayco OAD has a one-way clutching capability which allows it to isolate and dampen the drive from the alternator upon deceleration. These specially designed pulleys reduce belt slippage during rapid acceleration or deceleration and reduce noise and stress on the drive belt and other accessories. Also designed to increase alternator and belt drive life as well as improve the variation of drive belt tension, Dayco offers a full line of high-quality OADs where vehicle applications call for it. Proper tools must be used to remove and install OADs.
For automotive vehicle applications that include an OAP as Original Equipment.
Dayco OAPs are engineered with one-way clutches that allow the rotational inertia of the alternator to “overrun” during any belt deceleration event. Dayco OAPs, which are designed for long service life, decrease drive belt vibration and reduce belt slippage during rapid acceleration or deceleration, resulting in less stress on the drive belt and other accessories as well as increased alternator and drive belt life. Dayco OAPs are application-specific replacement parts. If a vehicle requires an OAP, the same type of pulley must be installed using the proper tools.
Dayco Hydraulic Timing Belt Actuators
