Designed for applications where the OE pulley design requires the use of two V-belts joined together with a common backing.

Dayco banded V-belts offer the increased strength needed for heavy-duty applications requiring a banded product. The banded V-belt’s raw edge construction, three-ply laminated fabric and EPDM design ensure superior gripping power while the bottom cog construction provides extreme flexibility and cooling. By combining two belts using the common backing process, Dayco banded V-belts greatly reduce the tendency for single belts, which when subjected to fluctuating load tensions may come off or turn over in multiple pulley drives.

With a body compound made from chloroprene rubber, these belts offer good shear, heat and oil resistance for a great performance to value ratio. The HT Power belt is designed to withstand temperatures in the range of -4◦F (-20◦C) to 212◦F (100◦C) and belt dimensions according to ISO 5296.

Designed for a wide range of applications including roller chain replacement or V-belt conversion, pumps, high performance vehicles, high torque-low speed machines, as well as material handling equipment in aggregate, food processing, pulp/paper, wood processing, distribution and agriculture.

The Dayco HT Power Carbon synchronous belt structure has the best combination of advanced and innovative materials for the most demanding applications. It has a hybrid cord made from a combination of glass for high chemical compatibility with HNBR compound and carbon fibers for high mechanical resistance of the belt as well as high precision meshing of the teeth in the sprocket grooves. The polymer compounds used in the belt are combined with aramid chopped fibers to offer improved stiffness and designed to provide extreme resistance to mechanical stress, elevated temperatures and aggressive fluids and chemicals. With excellent dimensional stability, strength and flexibility, along with low noise and low friction, it is meant for high load performances, offering the best in shock load resistance and the highest temperature resistance, -22°F (-30°C) to 266°F (130°C).
