Designed for specific OHC and DOHC applications ranging from normal service to high-performance, high temperature engines.
Manufactured with tough, wear-resistant fabric, high tensile strength cord and a molded tooth surface, Dayco’s timing belt provides consistent slip-proof power transfer and high resistance to oil and engine heat. The belt features a quieter, more economical molded cog design as well as a premium, high modulus glass fiber cord that delivers precise length stability to keep the engine running smoothly over the life of the belt.
Today, timing belts are subjected to new stresses and working conditions such as high direct injection pressure that in some applications exceeds 3,000 PSI, multi-valve motors with dual overhead camshafts with high loads, and turbocharged engines with high power and engine compartment temperatures above 250°F (120°C).
- HSN: This belt offers superior resistance to high working temperatures, even up to 230°F (110°C) and is designed to withstand pulsating loads.
- HK: Equipped with aramid-based fibers for superior durability and reduced noise, this belt style is manufactured for the latest small displacement high performance engine generations to withstand temperatures up to 250°F (120°C).
