EDDIE ROGERS’ “CHEVELLE FROM HELL” RACE CAR TO FLAUNT THE FLOOR AT DAYCO PRI BOOTH

PRI, Indianapolis, Dec. 1, 2023 – Dayco, a leading engine products and drive systems supplier in the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries, is gearing up for ‘hell on wheels’ at next week’s PRI show in Indianapolis with owner and driver Eddie Roger’s “Chevelle from Hell” on display in the Dayco booth, #2217.

The vehicle was built by Chris Duncan Race Cars, a team Dayco has a long standing working relationship with. The well-known fabrication shop and tuner of Pro-Mod and Top Alcohol cars outfits its dragsters with Dayco 8mm blower belts to help them perform under the most extreme conditions. This year, the Chevelle from Hell, which is raced by Rogers, competed all over the U.S. and earned a number of wins in the Midwest Drag Racing League, PDRA and ADRL drag racing series. The car continues to be maintained by Amanda Hoover, manager and tuner, at Chris Duncan Race Cars.

Teams report Dayco blower belts last 3 to 7 times longer than competitive belts. The Dayco 8mm blower belt has high strength Teflon-coated teeth for cogged drive pulleys and a carbon cord construction for extreme durability and performance on the street or track. Just like its 11mm blower belt Top Fuel predecessor, it was specifically engineered using real-world on-track data that enables it to withstand the rigors of 4,000+ horsepower Top Alcohol dragsters and Pro-Modified race cars. It comes in multiple lengths and 50mm, 75mm and 84mm widths.
